Dentistry students at the University of Toronto have hosted a bake sale and raised $300 to support our partnership with Chennai’s Sri Ramachandra University (SRU) to provide care to rural families. The money will be matched by a private charitable foundation. They raised awareness via emails, announcements, and handouts. They also encouraged others to vote in support of our partner’s E-MPOWER project, which was recently announced as a winner in the Spark the Rise challenge.
