Dear friends,
I would like to share some important, personal news. After nearly 15 years serving as Transforming Faces’ Executive Director, I have made the very difficult personal decision to step down and return to my home in Ecuador to care for my mother who is suffering from Alzheimer’s disease.
Since 2000, I have had the immense pleasure of supporting this organization as it has grown and evolved to ensure children and adults born with cleft lip and palate have access to long-term, sustainable care around the world.
I am very proud of what we have accomplished and feel very fortunate to have worked with such a wonderful team of staff, partners, volunteers, donors and friends. To everyone who helped make this such a positive journey – thank you!
TF’s Board of Directors is currently hard at work searching for my replacement with support from a recruitment firm. The new Executive Director is expected to start effective January 1, 2016.
